Cash App
Cash App is a payments and financial services app operated by Block, Inc., the company formerly named Square, and its own US terms are blunt about what it is not: a financial services platform, and not an FDIC-insured bank. That distinction is the whole reason a Cash App line shows up on a bank statement rather than only inside the app. The terms describe linking an external bank account from which funds can be transferred into a Cash App balance, and state that funds leave the Cash App balance or the linked account as early as the moment a payment instruction is initiated. The bank line is therefore the funding leg, and whoever was actually paid has to be identified from the app's own activity list rather than from the statement.
