Discover
Discover is a US card issuer and online bank that also runs its own payment network, unlike issuers that route over Visa or Mastercard. It offers deposit accounts as well as cards, and the two produce different statements — a card statement lists purchases and payments with no running balance. Statements are in US dollars with dates in month/day/year order — the order a converter has to get right, since 03/04 is 4 March in much of the world and 3 April here.
