Convert Remittance Advice to CSV
A remittance advice is a list of invoices paid — exactly the thing that shouldn't be retyped line by line. Upload the PDF and get the paid-invoice rows as CSV, totals checked, ready for cash application.
Choose a PDF (or CSV, Excel — up to 5 MB)
Cash-application ready
Invoice references and amounts as clean rows — match them off in your ERP instead of retyping them.
Totals verified
The listed payments are summed against the printed total, so a short-pay or misread stands out immediately.
Any remitter's layout
Customers format remittances however they like — extraction reads the table structure, not a template.
How it works
- 1Upload the remittance advice PDF.
- 2We extract the paid-invoice rows and totals, and check they add up.
- 3Download CSV for your ERP or reconciliation sheet.
What you download: A CSV of the remittance's line items — invoice references and amounts — plus totals, with a figures-add-up check.
What is a remittance advice?
A remittance advice is the note a customer sends alongside a payment telling you exactly what the payment covers — typically a list of invoice numbers and the amount paid against each, plus a total. It's how accounts-receivable teams know which open invoices to clear. The catch: it usually arrives as a PDF attachment, which is why the data ends up being retyped — the problem this converter removes.
From remittance PDF to cash application
Cash application stalls when the remittance arrives as a PDF attachment: someone retypes invoice numbers and amounts before matching can even start. Extracting the rows to CSV removes that step — the references land in a column you can match against open invoices directly, in your ERP or a spreadsheet.
Short-pays and discrepancies surface early
Because the extracted line amounts are summed and compared against the remittance's printed total, a discrepancy shows up at extraction time — before the mismatch becomes a mystery three steps later in reconciliation.
Fits whatever your ERP imports
CSV imports nearly everywhere; JSON is there when a script or integration is doing the matching. Column order follows the document, so a saved import mapping keeps working for repeat remitters.
What about scanned remittances?
Digital PDFs with a real text layer give exact results — we read the document's own characters and coordinates, not a picture of them. If you upload a pure scan with no selectable text, we detect it and tell you honestly instead of returning garbage rows.

Questions
›How do I extract a remittance advice to CSV?
Upload the PDF above — the paid-invoice rows and totals extract, the maths is checked, and the CSV downloads. First document free.
›Does it total the payment?
We report the totals the document prints and verify the line items against them — mismatches are flagged, not passed through.
›Which ERPs does the CSV work with?
Any system that imports CSV — which is virtually all of them. Use the document's column order or remap once on import.
›Repeat remittances from the same customer?
The extraction is deterministic, so the same layout yields the same columns every time — your import mapping keeps working.
›Is it private?
Files are never stored — the original is deleted within 24 hours, parsed data follows your plan's retention window, and you can delete everything instantly. Card and account numbers are redacted before anything is saved.
