Supported banks
Every bank we convert — with the numbers proven correct
Most converters hand you a spreadsheet and hope it's right. StatementDecoder reconciles every figure against your statement's own balances — so you know it's correct before you rely on it. Here's what we support, and how the guarantee works.
The accuracy guarantee
For any statement that prints a running balance or opening/closing totals, we check the extraction against the statement's own maths:
- ✓Opening balance + money in − money out must equal the closing balance.
- ✓Each running balance must chain exactly to the line before it.
- ✓If it reconciles, you get a Reconciled ✓. If it can't, we say so — we never pass off numbers we can't verify.
Layouts we parse deterministically
These bank-statement families have hand-tuned, code-exact parsers — no AI guesswork, and every row reconciled:
- UK high-street current accounts (Barclays, Lloyds, HSBC, NatWest, Halifax, Santander…)
- US checking accounts (Chase, Bank of America, Wells Fargo, Citi…)
- Italian ‘estratto conto’ (Banco Desio, Intesa, UniCredit — DARE/AVERE columns)
- Indian bank & UPI statements (co-operative and scheduled banks)
- Nigerian fintech (OPay, Moniepoint, PalmPay — two-column ledgers)
- Any other bank — parsed and reconciled by the AI engine

Convert your statement →Frequently asked questions
Does StatementDecoder work with my bank?
Almost certainly. We have hand-tuned, reconciliation-verified parsers for the major UK, US, EU, Indian and Nigerian layouts, and any other bank is handled by our AI engine — which is checked against the statement's own balances the same way. If your bank prints a PDF or CSV statement, we can convert it.
How do you make sure the converted numbers are correct?
For any statement that prints a running balance or opening/closing totals, we reconcile the extraction against the statement's own maths: opening balance + money in − money out must equal the closing balance, and each running balance must chain to the line before it. If it reconciles, you see a Reconciled ✓. If it can't be reconciled, we tell you rather than hand over numbers we can't stand behind.
My bank isn't in the list — can you still convert it?
Yes. The list highlights the banks with a dedicated guide, but the converter accepts a statement from any bank. Upload it and the engine parses and reconciles it the same way; if a layout is new, it learns it and gets faster on the next one.
Do you support PDF, CSV and scanned statements?
Yes — digital PDFs and CSV/Excel exports are parsed exactly, and scanned or photographed statements are read with AI vision, with every date and amount re-validated by code afterwards.
